Onus on Church officials to report sexual abuse –
Meet the Executive Board – Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches –
The Canadian Mennonite Brethren Executive Board “clarified” and “reiterated” their position on child sexual abuse because of public allegations directed to the MB church by me, Anne Klassen, the “woman in Ontario” whom they refused to name. The entire Canadian MB Executive Board, including Vidya Narimalla, chair of the Ontario MB Board of Faith and Life, has refused to comply with a single provision of their own “sexual abuse statement”, since those processes would expose the nature and scope of their church leaders’ complicity in the cover-up of the crimes committed against me inside their Mennonite community.
